Golf Dinner for the Ages

Dinner with Fred Couples? AND Nancy Lopez? How cool would that be?  You can enjoy them both at the Met Golf Writers' 63rd Annual National Awards Dinner on Monday, June 23 at the Westchester Marriott in Tarrytown, NY.  Tickets are going fast, but you can book your seats online at www.metgolfwriters.org. When you do, you'll also be making a donation to the caddie scholarship funds for Long Island, New Jersey, and Westchester, as well as the MGA Foundation.

These headliners aren't the only attractions.  Other honorees include award-winning sportswriter and best-selling author John Feinstein, the Blackwelder Family (LPGA star Myra, husband/caddie Worth, son/caddie Myles, and Symetra Tour standout Mallory), MGWA Club of the Year Knickerbocker CC, the New Jersey PGA, and the Travelers, title sponsor of the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands near Hartford.

Add in entertaining commentary from MC Bruce Beck and many others, and you're in for a fine golfer's repast.  Golf’s leading organizations -- the USGA, PGA of America, PGA TOUR, LPGA, MGA, MetLife, and Rolex -- all support the dinner, which has raised over 1.5 million dollars since it's inception in 1952.
